AROUND AND AROUND at Air Gallery, London , some time ago ..., here with the wonderful BERTIE BERLIN (aka Bertie Marshall) Poet, Performer, Singer and Writer who created the amazing, mysterious poetry and strange words to our sound track in collaboration with musician Olly Robinson. This beautifully accompanied the show of my large paintings installed in the blacked out space with closed circuit tv cameras observing visitors and reflecting them as in mirrors on monitors which were arranged in a square around the gallery beneath revolving paintings ...a great and special collaboration .. thanx boys.

EDGE OF DARK NSA Exhibition opens Oct 10th at Tremenheere Gallery
Some 10 years ago I made images which appeared somewhat dystopian at the time, I did not really know why when I created them. In response to this call out I decided to go back to these pictures and submit them to the exhibition committee. I hope they will find resonance.

The two pictures I have offered up contain images which, in spite of their beauty, still covey a sense of alar m.
The titles give a small inkling of inherent political and environmental concerns: EARTH DIVIDED and LANDSCAPE WITH TREES - both have echoes of something pressing but unspecified. Still they are beautiful and perhaps exhibition goers get a sense of this concern but yet feel hopeful and uplifted.
